Partnership Announcement: Bar Code Data Ltd and Syndico Collaborate to Enhance NHS Healthcare Communication and Security

Bar Code Data Ltd. is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Syndico to deliver cutting-edge communication and security solutions to the NHS. As a specialist value-added partner, Bar Code Data Ltd. will work in partnership with Syndico to provide a secure communication and messaging platform with Zebra Technologies utilising Zebra’s Workcloud Communication platform. Together, we are committed to equipping healthcare professionals across the NHS with the tools they need to enhance patient care, improve staff safety and streamline operations using the latest modern technology.

Revolutionising Community Healthcare

Through our collaboration, NHS Trusts will benefit from enhanced secure messaging capabilities that protect patient data in compliance with DCB0129 standards and DPIA requirements.

With the innovative Zebra TC27 PDA, the integration of real-time staff visibility, alerts and other safety features will provide a robust infrastructure for lone workers, ensuring their safety as they deliver essential care out in the Community. The platform can be fully integrated with host systems using Application Programming Interface (API) feeds and can also be used as a standalone platform with dashboard views for real-time look up of current tasks, messaging and reporting.

Upgrading Technology for Enhanced Security

By replacing the traditional pager and bleeper systems, considered by many as cumbersome and outdated, our partnership will enable real-time, secure and discreet messaging among hospital staff, porters and remote workers, along with real-time location tracking and task allocation based on availability, skill set, and urgency, all controlled from the central admin function.

The comprehensive monitoring and management capabilities provided through a central dashboard and portal will allow for optimised resource allocation and increased efficiency. Our solutions will also enhance the reliability of network coverage with options for LTE/Wi-Fi connectivity, ensuring that all critical communications reach the right personnel without delay.

Boosting Facilities Management Efficiency

Our partnership also extends to facilities management teams, including catering, porters and maintenance/repairs/estates personnel. By integrating Zebra Workcloud Communication software with Zebra hardware, these teams can now benefit from real-time communication, task allocation and location tracking, leading to faster response times and improved service delivery.

A Vision for the Future of Healthcare

As a specialist technology partner, Bar Code Data Ltd. is dedicated to providing the NHS with robust, secure and efficient solutions that drive innovation in healthcare communication and management. Our combined expertise with Syndico ensures that NHS Trusts can confidently transition from outdated, less secure devices to state-of-the-art technology that supports their mission of delivering outstanding patient care while ensuring the safety and efficiency of their workforce.

We look forward to a successful partnership that will deliver tangible benefits to the NHS, enhancing patient outcomes and staff satisfaction through improved communication, security, and operational efficiency.
