Our transport bags are designed for the movement and handling of pathology samples, diagnostic materials and laboratory specimens throughout healthcare and laboratory environments.

Designed to hold multiple specimen bags together during transportation, they provide a practical solution for moving samples between wards, hospitals, laboratories and diagnostic facilities. Bags are available with either a permanent self seal closure or a grip seal closure, allowing the most appropriate format to be selected for the application and workflow.

Produced to customer-specific requirements, these UN3373 compliant transport bags are widely used within hospital pathology networks and healthcare transport workflows. Bags can be custom printed with handling instructions, warning information, identification details or workflow messaging to support clear and consistent specimen handling throughout the transport process.

Manufactured in a wide selection of coloured films and material gauges, the bags can be tailored according to their required size, capacity and application. 60 micron film is a popular option, providing good durability and puncture resistance for routine healthcare transport.

Additional options include absorbent pad insertion, punch carrying handles, perforated opening sections and sequential barcode printing. Unique sequential barcodes can be incorporated into the bag design to support identification, traceability and tracking of samples throughout their journey.
