Our leakproof transport bags are designed to support the safe handling and transportation of laboratory samples, pathology specimens and diagnostic materials across healthcare and laboratory environments.

Used as a secondary transport solution, these bags are designed to carry multiple leakproof specimen bags together during transit between hospitals, laboratories and diagnostic locations. The bags feature an edge-to-edge internal seal designed to help contain potential spillages during transportation, supporting safer and more efficient specimen handling workflows.

Manufactured as bespoke solutions to meet individual operational requirements, transport bags are commonly used within hospitals, pathology laboratories and healthcare transport workflows. Almost all bags are custom printed with handling instructions, warning information or workflow guidance to support sample management throughout the transport process.

Produced in a wide range of coloured film options, the bags can be manufactured in different gauges depending on the size of the bag and the volume of samples being transported. 60 micron film is the most commonly specified option due to its excellent puncture resistance and durability.

Absorbent pads can also be inserted during production to assist with potential spillage containment, helping support safer specimen transport workflows.

The bags can also incorporate punch carrying handles, perforation lines for easier opening and unique sequential barcodes to support specimen tracking and traceability during transit.
