As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and continual improvement under ISO 14001, Bar Code Data has been enhancing urban greenery across our sites to help create spaces that actively support biodiversity and local wildlife.
Over recent weeks, a number of environmental initiatives have been introduced, including new green spaces, bug hotels, bird feeders and bird houses designed to encourage insects, pollinators and birds to thrive within our working environment.
These improvements are already having a positive impact, with birds and insects regularly visiting and making use of the new installations. The initiatives form part of Bar Code Data’s wider environmental objectives and support practical action to improve ecosystem health while helping reduce the environmental impact of our operations.
A special thank you goes to Sam Simms for her hard work, enthusiasm and commitment in helping bring these ideas to life. Sam has played a key role in coordinating the project and ensuring these improvements became a visible and meaningful part of our environmental efforts.
At Bar Code Data, we believe that small, well-planned actions can make a real difference. By investing in greener spaces and supporting biodiversity, we hope to contribute positively to the local environment while continuing to build a more sustainable future.
