Duragraphic Labels
Duragraphic labels have been developed as an industrial labelling solution that would meet the challenges of a tough environment. Resistant to water, grease, chemicals and UV light these labels offer the right solution for those tough label applications
Our industrial label solution, duragraphic offers the ultimate durable and waterproof sub surface printed labelling solution. Produced from a wide range of high specification industrial labelling materials each adapted to meet your individual needs.
Duragraphic labels offer a durable solution to labelling in the following conditions:
- Extreme temperatures
- Water submersion
- Corrosive and harsh chemicals
- Abrasion
Whilst over-laminated labels in certain situations offer some product and environment resistance a duragraphic label in a much more aggressive industrial environments will offer the ultimate solution.
Sub surface printing labels offer the ultimate solution. Printed using the latest screen printing technology the image lies under the surface of the clear material. Using this method of printing offer the greatest level of protection to the printed image. Screen printing offers a greater density of colour to the printed image and superior colour accuracy. The label design can incorporate unique information such as sequential barcodes or QR Codes.
What will Duragraphic labels offer you?
The Facts: Our high performance 3M adhesive will provide outstanding adhesion to metal and high surface energy plastics. The adhesive provides some initial repositionability for placement accuracy when bonding to plastics. Depending on the label application we are able to offer both polyester or polycarbonate face materials.
Water Resistance: Immersion in water has no appreciable effect on the bond strength.
Chemical Resistance: When applied correctly the adhesive will hold securely after exposure to numerous chemicals including oil, mild acids and alkalis
Temperature Resistance: The face material and adhesive will operate at temperatures as high as 400°F (204°C) for hours and 300°F (149°C) for days and weeks and as low as -40°C
UV Resistance: Outdoor exposure has no appreciable effect on either the performance of the graphics or the adhesive.
